I read an article last week about making little changes to improve one’s health and fitness, so decided I would give it a go. I have chosen to do a half hour walk each day. This was one of the suggestions. It is Saturday evening as I write this and I started last Sunday and have done my walk each day so far, despite the bitter cold. I have found a couple of routes around the town which also give me the opportunity to drop into shops, so I can kill two birds with one stone. I keep my phone on silent and find it a perfect time to reflect and plan.
I am hoping to be fitter when we go to Cornwall in September as there is a very steep hill down to the village from where we stay. My ideal would be to climb back up without having to stop, as I had to stop at least once every time last year. We will see and I will report back.
